Call for Submissions for law students, NLUJAA’s The Lost Stories: Submit by May 5

The Lost Stories is the bi-annual literary magazine of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam under the aegis of the Literary and Debating Committee, NLUJAA.

The magazine seeks to provide a platform for the students to look beyond the pages of their mundane academic lives and showcase their creative skills and talents.

Further Details

The Lost Stories is accepting all kinds of unpublished and original entries, be it poems, stories (fictional or non-fictional), opinion pieces, essays, artwork, photography, short travelogues, book reviews, or anything else.

Theme

The submissions need not be restricted to any theme. We publish entries related to both, one’s lifestyle, and the ones related to some general issues aimed towards sensitising the readers. We do not publish purely legal writing.

Eligibility

Students, academicians, research scholars and activists can contribute to the magazine.

Submission Guidelines

  • The entries must not exceed 1,500-2000 words in length. Longer posts might be considered depending on their quality.
  • All submissions to the magazine should be original and should not be simultaneously considered by any other publication. Plagiarized submissions will be rejected.
  • The language of the submissions should be English.
  • Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of two authors.
  • Authors must include their brief biographical information (in no more than two lines). This information should include institutional affiliation and corresponding email address. Anonymous publications and publications under a pen name are allowed subject to mentioning the same in the body of the mail.
  • The manuscript itself must not contain any information as to the name(s) of the author(s), the institution, address or any other information that may reveal or indicate their identity. This information shall be provided in the body of the mail.
