Call for Blogs for law students: RGNUL, CIIPR’s Law & Tech Times: Submissions on a rolling basis.

CIIPR is a recent project of RGNUL, Punjab, led by Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Kumar Vats, with the goal of providing education and training opportunities in the field of IPR, as well as encouraging student research efforts.

In conjunction with Legal StartUps, New Delhi, the Centre has already begun working on new projects such as the National Competition on Legal Innovation & Legal Startups – 2021, “Promoting the Culture of Legal Entrepreneurship.”

Law & Tech Times is a student-run, blind peer-reviewed newsletter/blog based at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law in Punjab and sponsored by CIIPR. It is the leading effort in the subject of technology law, and it was established with the goal of supporting study in the field of technical breakthroughs and their intersection with the law.

The law’s major goal is to keep up with the rapid advancement of technological advancements and the regulations that govern them. Our team is interested in learning more about how the law interacts with science and technology. The team has already started issuing newsletters, despite the fact that it has only been around for a short time.

Theme

  • All submissions must be typed in Times New Roman with a font size of 12 and a 1.5 spacing.
  • Left 1.5 inch, right 1 inch, top 1 inch, and bottom 1 inch are the margins.
  • Each post is limited to 1500 words.
  • Within the article, relevant sources should be hyperlinked.
  • Sources for which no link could be supplied must be listed in the bibliography at the conclusion.
  • For future reference, the manuscript should be accompanied by a cover letter that includes the author’s name, designation, institute, phone number, and email address. [Authors are asked not to include their names in the main manuscript.
  • All entries must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or.docx) format.
  • Manuscripts should be sent to lawtech@rgnul.ac.in.
  • “Submission for Law & Tech Times Blog Series” should be the subject line of the email.
  • A maximum of two people can co-author a paper.
  • The accuracy of the facts, opinions, or viewpoints stated in the submitted Manuscript is solely the responsibility of the author(s).
  • The language used must be politically neutral and adhere to the broad rules.
  • The language used should not be derogatory or bring a third party into discredit.
  • We do not accept plagiarised content, and if extensive plagiarism is discovered in the submitted manuscript’s contents, the manuscript will be rejected.
  • All blog posts will remain the property of Law & Tech Times.
  • The author is the only owner of all moral rights (s).
  • Manuscripts that do not follow the aforementioned requirements are likely to be rejected.
  • After passing through the blind peer-review process, the Editorial Board has the final say on whether or not to accept the manuscript.
