The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi established the Chair on Consumer Law and Practice (CLAP) at National Law School of India University, Bangalore in August 2008 to promote research, teaching, and training in Consumer Law and Practice. The Chair is serving as a “Think Thank” for Consumer Law and Practice Research and Policy problems.

ABOUT THE SESSION

NLSIU’s Chair on Consumer Law is organizing a Virtual Roundtable Discussion on ‘Challenges under Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Way Forward‘ on October 9, 2021, from 3 PM to 5:30 PM.

The goal of this discourse is to go over the concerns and challenges raised by the Consumer Protection Act of 2019, as well as to come up with realistic ways to address them.
