CONCEPT NOTE

Education in Globalized Era : New Trends & Modern Approaches

“If the poor cannot come to education, education must reach them, at the plough, in the bakery factory, elsewhere”.

-Swami Vivekananda

Education is one of the important tools in promoting human beings, society and in developing India as per the vision reflected in the Constitution of India. Multidisciplinary and holistic education is one of the necessities to achieve excellence in the field of education and has become the need of the hour to meet the educational challenges. One of the Sustainable Development Goal-Education 2030 is to ensure equitable quality education and to promote lifelong opportunities for all by 2030. The demographic diversity of India is a major challenge in achieving common educational goals. Local transportation and technology is a problem in rural India and there is a shortage of schools and colleges in the remote areas. At many places, good schools and colleges are outside the villages and therefore prohibit the learners from reaching the education institutions. As per all India Survey on Higher Education Report 2018-19 of the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India, gross enrolment ratio in higher education institutes is merely 26.3 percent.

Technology can be a best source to achieve the educational goal in India. The main purpose of the proposed conference is to deliberate and discuss various methods of blended, E-learning and high light the various opportunities, challenges and constraints pertaining to education in India. Suggestions by the Researchers, Advocate, Academicians and Students will be beneficial in shaping the future higher education system in India which is the demand of the modern education in the prevailing coming situations.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

-Nelson Mandela
