With three successful editions of our prestigious Mediation Competition under our belt, CADR, RGNUL is launching its Negotiation Competition this year – “1st RGNUL Negotiation Competition 2021.” The competition will be held virtually, with the goal of providing a platform for students to participate in disputes that correspond to the reality witnessed by legal professionals.
Format of the Competition
The competition shall have 2 preliminary rounds, 1 Quarter-Final round, 1 Semi-Final round and the Final round.
Eligibility
Undergraduate, Post-Graduate from a university recognised by Bar Council of India
Each University may have 1 team
Awards
Awards will be given for the following:
- Winning Negotiation Team: Rs. 20,000
- Runners-up Negotiation Team: Rs. 15,000
- Best Negotiator: Rs. 5,000
- Best Negotiation Plan: Rs. 5,000
- Certificate of Participation shall be given to all the participants.
Procedure for Registration
1.Each participating team will be made up of two eligible students from the same university who will serve as client and counsel.
2.The team’s composition cannot be changed once it has been communicated to the Competition Administrator.
3.Teams must complete their registration by submitting the form (link at the bottom of this post) by September 15th.
4.After being chosen by the Organising Committee, the teams must pay a registration fee of Rs. 2000.
The details of the registration fee payment will be communicated to the teams following their selection

- Last Date of Registration: September 15, 2021
- Release of the Proposition: September 20, 2020
- Last Date for Seeking Clarifications: September 25, 2021
- Release of Clarifications: October 01, 2021
- Competition Dates: October 08-10, 2021
