Stakeholder Meet-cum-Seminar on Eliminating Child Labour by FoL, JECRC University: Register by June 11
JECRC University is a private university located in the city of Jaipur, in Rajasthan in India. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
JECRC University had started the Faculty of Law in 2017 with the approval of the Bar Council of India.
The Legal Aid Clinic, JECRC University was established in 2017 by the students of the Faculty of Law, JECRC University for the advancement of justice in rural areas with combined efforts of Faculty In-Charge and Members of Legal Aid Clinic.
Legal Aid Clinic aims to bridge the gap between socio-economic backward people and access to the justice system by providing free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society because access to justice is the biggest and most intrinsic problem faced by the downtrodden sections of the society.
The Legal Aid Clinic, Faculty of Law, JECRC University, Jaipur, Rajasthan is organizing a Stakeholder Meet-cum-Seminar. The said seminar is divided into two sessions. The First Session is on the Role of NGOs to Prevent and Prohibit Child Labour in India and the Second Session is on Legislative Policies and Schemes Against Child Labour which will be addressed by eminent speakers.
Legal Aid Clinic is glad to notify about their Chief Guest & Key Note Speaker for the sessions Ms. Rosy Taba Gongo, Member, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
She is a practicing advocate at Guwahati High Court. She is appointed as the first member of NCPCR for ‘Elimination of Child Labour or Children in Distress’ from the Northeast. She is a former member of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for women. She also worked as a State project coordinator at the Ministry of Law and Justice, Govt. of India.
1st Session: Ms. Indu Rani Singh, Special Director from Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre (JAC) Society, Rajasthan to enlighten the audience with her knowledge related to the topic ‘Role of NGOs to Prevent and Prohibit Child Labour in India’.
2nd Session: Adv. Mudit Singhvi, Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench to share his words with the audience on Legislative Policies and Schemes Against Child Labour.

No Registration Fees for either of the session.
Every registered attendee will be awarded separate e-Certificate of Participation of both the session within 10 days of the session (i.e., 22nd June 2021).
