The Ministry is presently under the overall charge of the Hon’ble Prime Minister assisted by Hon’ble Minister of State.
Deepak Khandekar is the Secretary (Personnel) under the Department of Personnel and Training. He is assisted by Special Secretaries, Additional Secretaries, and Joint Secretaries.
The Department of Personnel & Training determines Government policy for the maintenance of the integrity of the public services and eradication of corruption and coordinates the activities of various Ministries/Departments in that area.

Period of Engagement
Initially, for a period of one (01) year. The contract could be extended depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness, and depending on the requirement.
Eligibility
Legal Consultant
Retired Government Employees or Legal Professionals from the open market
- Having a Masters Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university/institute of India, recognized by the Bar Council of India
- Should be registered as an advocate in the Bar Council in terms of Advocate’s Act.
- Excellent written and oral skills communication or interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post qualification experience of working with Government Departments/PSUs and/or Supreme Court of India/High Courts or District Courts.
Legal Assistant
Retired Government Employees or Legal Professionals from the open market
- Having a Masters Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university/institute of India, recognized by the Bar Council of India
- Should be registered as an advocate in the Bar Council in terms of Advocate’s Act.
- Excellent written and oral skills communication or interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computer applications, such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
- Experience: Minimum 5 Years of relevant post qualification experience.

Remuneration
- Legal Consultant: Rs. 60,000 per month
- Legal Assistant: Rs. 40,000 per month

Method of selection
- On the basis of applications received, candidates will be shortlisted for interviews.

Work Profile
Employees are being required for working in the Service Division of DoP&T. The employee will be expected to work on Service matters of IAS officers, RTI matters, court cases and any other task assigned by the officers.
