About Vaze Model United Nations
Vaze Model United Nations was established in the year 2017 by the then 12th Grade students who wished to bring about change in their college. They wanted to give something back to the college that was shaping them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
About GLC NSS Unit
National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Very appropriately, the motto of NSS is “NOT ME, BUT YOU”. An NSS volunteer places the ‘community’ before ‘self’. . The aim of NSS is developing student’s personality through community service.
About GLC Legal Aid Committee
The Legal Aid Committee, as the name suggests, strives to provide free legal assistance to those who cannot afford it. The Legal Aid Committee has varied and diverse activities to be undertaken which range from providing pro bono legal opinion to needy people, spreading awareness in Mumbai on various current socio-legal issues, teaching juvenile delinquents and writing bail applications for the prison inmates.

About the Speaker
Rooted in the idea of excellent education, Mr. Neel currently works with the Fellowship Recruitment team at Teach For India, a movement that works towards bridging the educational inequity. Prior to that, he worked as a Teach For India Fellow where he taught in a Government school for two years and worked towards providing quality education to his students and understanding the challenges that obstruct excellent education for all.
He comes with a degree in International Relations along with a lot of interest in public policy and governance. He believes that strong and good Governance has a huge role to play in eliminating social evils.
