Helpage India works for the care of the older people and aims to improve their quality of life. It provides them financial, legal, moral, health support. It helps the older people to take charge of their own lives and be more confident and live a dignified life.

First day at organization:
The first day at the organization was energetic and full of eagerness.
Best Part of Internship:
This experience interning at a NGO made me see the real world. It enhanced my knowledge and taught me a sense of responsibility. It built up my confidence and helped me to me more independent.
Biggest Lesson:
The lesson this internship taught me was to respect and value the older people. The world is full of people who need our help and a little effort can change anybody’s life.
Anything else you’d like to tell:
Working at an NGO teaches you the real meaning of life. It helps you to see the condition of our world right now. An NGO comes with a huge sense of responsibility but once you get to know the real picture nothing can stop you from making this world a better place to live.

An internship provides you an opportunity to put your knowledge into task. It helps to build your confidence and gives you an image of the professional environment. It gives you a chance to picture and decide about your future. It enhances your knowledge and helps you to test your limits. With a positive attitude, determination and hard work one can achieve anything.
