About the Organisation

The Directorate of Women and Child Development is functioning w.e.f. 1-4-92 vide notification No. 79-SW I/92 dated 10th February 1992 after getting bifurcation from social welfare department.

In its capacity as a nodal agency looking after the advancement of women and children, the Department formulates plans, policies and programmes and coordinates the efforts of both government and non-governmental organizations working in the field of women and child development.

Job Details

Member Secretary Haryana State Child Protection Society of the Women and Child Development Department of Government of Haryana invites application for the following posts:

  • Member (Juvenile Justice Board): 8 (Eight)
  • Member (Child Welfare Committee): 8 (Eight)
  • Chairperson (Child Welfare Committee): 3 (Three)

Location

  • Member (Juvenile Justice Board): Hisar, Jhajjar, Palwal, Karnal, Rewari, Kurukshetra & Gurugram districts.
  • Member (Child Welfare Committee): Hisar, Jhajjar, Palwal, Panchkula & Sonipat district.
  • Chairperson (Child Welfare Committee): Fatehabad, Jind, Panchkula districts.

Eligibility

Member (Juvenile Justice Board): Minimum seven years of experience of working with children in the field of Law.

Member (Child Welfare Committee): Seven years of experience of working with children in the field with a degree law or a should be a retired Judicial Officer.

Chairperson (Child Welfare Committee): Seven years of experience of working with children in the field with a degree law or a should be a retired Judicial Officer.
