National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam is an autonomous law school in India located in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was established in 2009 through an Act passed by the State Legislature of Assam as a public university dedicated to the field of legal education.
NLUJAA Echoes is the literary magazine of National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLU Assam).
About the Competition
NLUJAA Echoes is organizing ‘SCRIBERE National Article Writing Competition’.
Eligibility
The Competition is open for all the students currently pursuing their under-graduation/post-graduation course from any recognized university/college in India.
Themes
Participants can submit articles for the competition on the following themes:
- UAPA against Freedom of Speech and Expression?
- Covid 19: A turning point in World Politics
- Covid 19:Rise in Communalism and Racism in India
- Is Indian Nationalism being Redefined?
- Covid 19 and the fight against Climate Change
- Prism Journalism in India: Way Forward?
Prizes
- First 3 Winners shall be awarded publication in book and certificate signed by Honourable Vice-Chancellor of National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam.
- Top 10 articles will be published on our website.
- The most liked article by the readers will be awarded the reader’s choice prize.
- Other Participants shall receive a Certificate of Participation signed by Honorable Editor In Chief, NLUJAA Echoes.
Submission Details
- The article needs to be submitted in Microsoft Office doc/docx format.
- The participant/participants need/needs to complete the whole Article in 1000-1500 words
- Co-authorship of a maximum of 2 persons is permitted.
- There will be a restriction of one article per author/ one article per co-authors. Multiple submissions from the same author will not be entertained.
- No citation is allowed, only references are permitted as it is an opinion based Article Writing Competition.
- The participant/participants while submitting their Article needs to send their biography/cover letter in 80 words [maximum] which will cover their profession/educational institution, their current year and age.
- The last date for submission is May 15, 2020.
