About the organizer

The University of Rajasthan is a public and state university and one of the oldest universities in the Indian state of Rajasthan, located in the city of Jaipur. It was set up on 8th January 1947, as the University of Rajputana and was given its current name in the year 1956.

The University Five Year Law College, a self-financing endeavour, offers an integrated BA-LLB (Hons.) course. The course was designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of the law, both theoretical and practical, through classroom teaching, moot Courts, seminars, lectures and internships.

About the moot

University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in Association with RANKA Public Charitable Trust, is organising the 9th FYLC RANKA National Moot Court Competition, 2019 from 14th to 16th of September, 2019. 

Venue: University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, 302004.

Eligibility

  1. All students enrolled in a recognised 3 year LLB Program or a recognised 5 year integrated Law program, in territorial boundaries of India, shall be eligible to participate in the competition.
  2. Students enrolled in postgraduate or diploma programmes are not eligible to participate.

Team Size

Each team shall comprise of three (3) members ONLY out of which two (2) will be speakers and one (1) researcher.

Team Information

Any Institution shall be entitled to send only one team to the Competition. The participating team shall comprise of three members, two as the Speakers and one as the Researcher. Any other additional member of such team shall not be
permitted for any such participation in the Competition.

Any alteration/change in the names of the team members shall be intimated in a written application to the Organizing Committee via e-mail at ufylcrankanationalmootcourt@gmail.com addressing to the Organizing Committee.

No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organizers, latest by 7th September 2019.

The Registration form completed with all team details shall be submitted online, on or before 7th September 2019 and also, a hard copy to the college on or before 10th September 2019. 

A Registration fee of Rs. 5000/- is inclusive of transport and accommodation, to be sent by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Univ. Five Year Law College, Jaipur, along with the registration form, on or before 10th September 2019.
