About NUALS
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, formerly National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies, is a uni-disciplinary university in Kochi, India for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate legal education. It is the only National Law University in the state of Kerala.
About the Moot
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi is organising t the 6th edition of the NUALS International Maritime Law Arbitration Competition (NIMLAC) will be held on October 18-20, 2019.
NIMLAC is the flagship Moot Court Competition of NUALS and has continually been host to an excellent standard of mooting. We believe in educating all involved, and thus will continue our practice of conducting academic sessions on Maritime Law for participants and judges during the course of the Competition.
Eligibility and Team Strength
All students pursuing their first degree in law (for example BA LLB/LLB in India) or its equivalent conducted by any recognized college/university/ institution shall be eligible to participate in the Competition.
Each team shall comprise of a minimum of two and a maximum of three members.
Location
NIMLAC 2019 will be conducted at the NUALS Campus in Kochi, Kerala, India.
Registration Procedure
Provisional Registration for the Competition is now open and can be completed by filling up the form available here.
Final Registration and Payment of Registration Fees will begin on August 1, 2019, and will be available on the website.
