  1. About the conference

Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) is not a new concept, especially to the people who are enthusiastic about science and technology. New technologies are innovated and incorporated into the routine in the life of people. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one such innovation which has drastically impacted the functional ecosystem of society. The technology is changing rapidly, with computers and now robots, replacing simple human activities. AI is basically a machine that can actually think on its own. Of late, we are observing greater than before discussions on scope of Artificial Intelligence and its legal implications. Last year the United States saw several legal issues between the US government and the technology companies. With the passage of time and the development of AI software, these issues are likely to grow. Indian Legal industry has not been much open to the technological changes. Our Legal system has always been labour intensive. Nowadays, Law firms are using AI for their legal functions. With this ongoing trends relating to AI, this workshop highlights the legal issues and challenges related to AI.
