Who Is The Organizer?

SGT University is nationally renowned for its leadership in Medical and Health Sciences. It established the Faculty of Law in 2014 to promote profound scholarship and enlighten research in law, to provide highest quality professional legal education to face the new challenges and dimensions of the internationalization of the legal profession. Through organising moot court competitions, workshops, and seminars, they foster a vibrant environment for sharing ideas. What Are The Details Of The Event?

  • Date of Event: 27th-29th October 2023
  • Eligibility:
    • Students enrolled in a 3-year Law programme in India or in an integrated 5-year Law programme in India are eligible for the competition.
    • The University must be approved by the Bar Council of India.
  • Team Composition:
    • Each team shall comprise of three members. Two members shall be designated as Speakers and one member shall be designated as Researcher (one personshall hold one postition only)
    • The Organising Committee will assign a Team Code to each team.

    • Only those participants registered as Speakers shall be allowed to speak.
    • No team coach, mentor, observer shall be allowed
  • Last date of Registration: 9th October, 2023 by 23:59 IST
  • Registration process:
    • All teams shall register themselves provisionally by CLICK HERE.
    • The registration fee of INR 5,000/- covers both Food and Accommodation. It is important to note that the fee structure remains constant at INR 5,000/-, regardless of whether a team chooses to avail themselves of the Food and Accommodation facilities or not.
    • Scanned copy of the filled registration forms along with the screenshot of the payment (along with the transaction ID) shall be sent to mcs@sgtuniversity.org on or before 28th September, 2023 (by 11:59 PM) and also submit the hard copy of the same on the day of offline registration i.e., 27th October, 2023 at the registration desk.
    • Each team is required to submit one passport-sizecolored photograph of each team member at the time of offline registration i.e., 27th October, 2023.
    • A team Code shall be alloted to each team by the Organising Committee which will be communicated to them on or before 10th October, 2023.
  • Registration Fees: The registration fee is Rs. 5000 per team.
  • Awards:
    • WINNER: Trophy, Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 45,000/-
    • RUNNER UP: Trophy, Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 24,000/-
    • BEST MOOTER (MALE): Trophy, Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 7,000/-
    • BEST MOOTER (FEMALE): Trophy, Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 7,000/-
    • BEST MEMORIAL: Trophy, Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 7,000/-
    • BEST RESEARCHER: Trophy, Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 7,000/-
    • SEMI-FINALIST: Trophy and Certificate of Appreciation
