Date of the Competition:

We are pleased to present to you the 6th Amity Quiz on Constitutional Law being organised at Amity Law School, Noida Sector 125, on the 6th October, 2017.

This is an event on a gigantic scale, which usually witnesses vigorous and cut throat participation from students cutting across different programmes i.e., 5 years LLB & 3 years LLB.

This used to be an event exclusively for in-house candidates, but this time we are extending the 6th edition to law colleges spread across Delhi/NCR, to make them further and prosper the constitutional spirit of the revered document, and also, to keep them abreast of the profound constitutional challenges and events occurring in the country.

This year we take this opportunity to extend this event to other Delhi/NCR Law Colleges as well.

The purpose of organizing this Quiz competition which is a major event in our college’s calendar is to celebrate the spirit of Constitutionalism and to instill future generation advocates with the sense of pride and respect for the Nation.

Theme:

Amity Law School, Noida, AUUP is organizing it’s  6th Edition Amity Quiz on Constitutional Law of India (AQCL, 2017) for Law Colleges in Delhi – NCR Region.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

The competition will take place on 6th October, 2017

The Registration closes on 28th September, 2017.

Participation is open only for students from 2nd year and onwards

Reporting time: 0900 hours at the Reception of I-2 Block

Examination: 1100 hours to 1230 hours

Venue:

Amity Law School, I-2 Block, Sector 125, Amity University, Noida, UP.

The entry of participants will be from Gate No. 1 of the Amity University Campus, Noida.

The list of the participants will be provided to the gate authorities for their smooth entry.

Registration Form and Fee Details:

Registration Form is being sent along with the invite. The same has to be filled up and sent back along with the Demand Draft. The registration fees for participating in the competition is Rs. 250/-

The Demand Draft shall be in favour of “Amity University UP” payable at Noida.

Question Paper:

The competition will be held in the form of questions on CONSTITUTIONAL LAW of INDIA, which will include reported cases till December 2016 (as available on SCC online).

Question paper will have the multiple choice questions, comprising of 100 questions.

The duration of examination will be for 90 minutes.

4 marks would be awarded for every right answer and 1 mark would be deducted for every wrong answer.

Any kind of unfair means during the examination shall result in disqualification of the candidate.

Student’s Code of Conduct:

Students must carry their valid college identity card issued by their institution at the time of reporting for registration.

No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 1115 hours.

Use of mobile phones, laptops or any other electronic gadget is prohibited in the examination hall.

It is mandatory for every Candidate appearing for the quiz to wear formals (black and white).

IT IS MANDATORY FOR STUDENTS TO CARRY THEIR CODES TILL THE END, THAT WILL BE ALLOTTED TO THEM AT THE REGISTRATION DESK BEFORE THE QUIZ.

Announcement of Results:

The announcement of results shall be made the same day in the Valedictory function. The schedule for the Valedictory function is attached herewith for your reference.

The Certificate of Participation shall be given to all the participants appearing for the quiz.

The participants who will not be available for the Valedictory won’t be entitled to claim their certificate/prizes at a later stage.

Prizes:

The top winners of the competition would be awarded the following prizes:

Nani Palkhivala Award as the First prize

M. Seervai Award as the Second prize

R. Ambedkar Award as the Third prize

R. Khanna Award as the Fourth prize

The award will include cash prize and gifts.
