Who Is The Organiser?
Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, Mumbai (TRCL) is an institution which equips its students with the skillset and qualities required to take on the challenges of our fast-paced world. The knowledgeable faculty at TRCL comes from a variety of legal backgrounds and engages in critical study that contributes to public debates both in class and country. TRCL throughout the years has been organizing Lex Communique by including National Level Moot Court competitions and Parliamentary Debate Competitions, which has seen tremendous participation and now we are aiming at broadening the horizons further.
Hence, we take great pleasure in announcing our 5th National Law Fest ‘Lex Communique,’ which will be held on 8th to 10th March 2024. Lex Communique, TRCL’s Flagship Annual National Law Fest, aims to provide a forum for ambitious law students to connect and discuss, in order to develop and showcase their skills. To provide law students with the highest levels of professional competence in legal practice in a global context, TRCL organizes ‘Appellate Moot Court’ and ‘National Youth Summit’ as the essential Lex-Communique components for this year. Appellate Moot Court Competition intends to promote and develop skills in the procedure used by Trial Courts, and also the deliberations raised in the Higher Courts as a case proceeds through various stages, as well as to test students’ knowledge of the law and facts. While the National Youth Summit intends to provide young aspiring leaders with a platform to present their perspectives on international policies as well as government dogma. Furthermore, the event also consists of a plethora of informal events to enable participants to relax and enjoy the competition. Thus, TRCL invites all the Leading Law Schools from Pan India to participate and be a part of Lex Communique 2024.
