We were till now being in our old small campus but the good news is we are being shifted to our very own new campus located 40kms away from the main city at Sabbavaram. The new campus infrastructure is really well with all the good facilities to be provided to the students.
Hostel accommodation is to be provided in the campus itself with all security as well as mess facilities will be equally standard and hygienic for all the students. there is a student mess committee where students can raise their concerned problems which will be dealt by the concerned authorities.
College hours are very cool as in it is made in such manner as students don’t get way too lethargic. classes start at 9 a.m and we have a small break of 15 minutes at 11 A.m i.e., after two classes and then at 1:15 classes get over. So after 4 hours of class from Monday to Saturday, students are free to work for the rest of the things such as research papers, moot court assignments and other stuffs.
Teaching pattern is different for different teachers, for some their reading material is all they want in the answer sheet whereas others expect some additional info and some extra efforts by the students. so all this depends on the teacher. as per the marking scheme is concerned this also depends upon the teacher’s criteria as to what is their marking pattern and the students can make that out after one or two internal assessments.
The older campus was in the main city which had almost everything in
Internship totally depends on the students and the university only helps in sending applications on behalf of students if the students wish for the same.
As far as placements are concerned college support is being built and in the near future result prospects would be high. as of now other sources are more reliable.
The best thing about our law school is that few faculties are very supportive. Also various activities being organized in the university helps students to be engaged in those activities and improve their skills.
Regarding the worst think as per my opinion, the internship breaks and the semester holidays are one and the same. so the students do not get much holiday to relax at their home and to do their internships as well.
My suggestion for every new aspirant would be to think and decide based on their ranks as to which college or university they prefer to study in. DSNLU is a peaceful environment to study in and there is no college election and student politics involved. Administration is the supreme. Rules of the university are to be abided strictly.
A fun loving adventurous and knowledge enriching experience.
