About The University 

BPS Women University is running number of departments in streams of English, Education, Law, Economics, Physical Education, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering College, Fashion Technology. The BPS Government Medical College for girls has also been started for M.B.B.S. course at Khanpur. The university is going through a transition phase under the guidance of dynamic Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadava and Registrar Dr. Kavita Kamboj.   Faculty of Law  has different courses such as B.A. LL.B., BBA, LL,B., LL.M., PH.D., PG Diploma in Cyber Law.

About Seminar

Intellectual Property plays important role in our life. Teachers, industrialists, author, pharmacists, students, scientists, economists, shopkeeper, consumer, housewife,everyone is affected by this. India believes in the spreading of knowledge, came under the clutch of WTO TRIPs agreement, where knowledge has been commercialize. We have amended our IP laws in compliance of the WTO TRIPs agreement. Small counties are becoming world power with the royalties taken by licenses. Whether we are lag behind? We have to come forward to accept the reality that without strengthening IP, we cannot develop.Present Government has started Make in India,Start upprogrammeand formed National Intellectual Property Policy 2016 in India where IPR will play important role.In this programme we are trying to discuss the pros and cons of IP, analysis of NIPP 2016 and to find out the solution being a developing country.

So Centre for IPRs Studies of Dept. of Law, BPSMV is going to organize its 4th programme on IPRs to analyze future prospects of IPRs in India.
