What Is The Opportunity?

The Environmental Peacebuilding Association® (EnPAx®) and the Grotius Center for International Legal Studies at Leiden University are delighted to announce that the Third International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding will be held on June 19–21, 2024.  Participants should consider arriving on Monday, June 17, so they can participate in the full day of Pre-Conference events on Tuesday, June 18, including training courses, business meetings, side events, and site visits.  In addition, we will have a Virtual Day of the conference to enable people who cannot travel to The Hague to participate; this virtual day is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12.

Enrollment for sessions with limited availability:  As a general matter, the conference is open to all paid participants. Some sessions have limited space. Enrollment in these sessions is on a first-come basis.  Anyone who had completed registration for the in-person portion of the conference (including payment of the conference fees) can enroll in the sessions.  The agenda (below) indicates the sessions for which “Enrollment is required.”  These include (1) training courses and site visits on June 18; and (2) the resume review workshop, the women’s leadership lunch, the lunch with environmental peacebuilding authors, and a funders’ session during June 19-21.  To optimize opportunities for all participants, people can sign up for the trainings or site visit of their choice AND one of the other four sessions (resume workshop, lunches, …).
