THEME:
The theme of the conference is “Redefining International Economic Law in 21st Century: Challenges Ahead”
The sub-themes of the conference include Historical and theoretical foundations of International Economic Law.; Role of Actors under International Economic Law; International Trade Law; Issues in International Investment Law; International Economic Law and Intellectual Property Rights; Monetary and Financial Concerns under International Economic Law; Regional and Domestic Approaches to International Economic Law; Inter-section of different regimes in International Economic Law; Dispute resolution in International Economic Law.
VENUE:
The conference will be held in College of Legal Studies, UPES at Knowledge Acres (Kandoli) in the city of Dehradun. Kandoli is located in Sahaspur Tehsil in Dehradun District of Uttarakhand State, India. It is 20 Km from the Dehradun Railway Station, 25 Km from Dehradun ISBT (Inter-State Bus Terminus) and 48 Km from Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Kandoli has preserved its serenity because it is free of the ills of urbanization and is absolutely pollution free. Some notable attractions around Kandoli are availability of stream water, widespread forest area, and cohabitation of natives with wildlife.
PARTICIPANTS:
In this Conference, academicians, professionals, practitioners, scholars, students, academic bodies, government bodies, civil society organizations etc., are encouraged to participate.
ABSTRACT:
All submitted abstracts will undergo a blind review. An abstract/proposal between 250-300 words, clearly summarizing the arguments, should be submitted before the deadline. Participants will have to submit the abstract and author details at the link; CLICK HERE
FULL PAPER
All submitted papers will be peer reviewed. Please submit the full paper only if your abstract has been first officially accepted by the committee and you are FULLY registered for the conference after paying the registration fee. Link to the registration procedure and payment option shall be sent to the registered email-ids of participants whose abstracts have been accepted.
The preferred length of full paper (including footnotes) is 8,000 words (maximum limit). It must include an abstract (not more than 250-300 words) and 3 to 5 keywords.
Author’s autobiographical details should appear as the first footnote of each contribution, and include the name, academic and professional qualifications, institutional affiliation, current title and position of each author.
Full paper must be written in English, typed using Times New Roman (normal style and font size 12) and in MS-Word. Page size should be A4, single column with 2.5 cm margin on both sides with single line spacing. All pages of the manuscript (including Tables and Figures) should be numbered. Uniform style of citation is expected throughout the paper.
