1st National Arbitration Moot by ‘Lei Ipsum’, SVKM NMIMS School of Business Management [May 1-2]: Register by Apr 15
The School of Business Management (SBM) of SVKM’s NMIMS, Deemed to be a University (as per UGC Norms) is situated in Mumbai. NMIMS SBM has been there since 1981 as a management institute under the University of Mumbai and from 2003). It has been operating as a school within NMIMS Deemed-to-be University), the B-School has developed numerous business leaders and entrepreneurs and created intellectual capital that is meaningful to its stakeholders.
As a functional cell operating under the Student Council at SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management Mumbai; Lei Ipsum is proud to announce its 1st NATIONAL ARBITRATION MOOT, on 1st & 2nd May 2021, followed by a webinar panel discussion. This event is open to participants from all law and management colleges.
It is the aim of the functional cell to host and organize events responsible for the promotion of and spreading awareness relating to management and law through a course as unique as MBA (Law). The competition aims to promote the notion of management through raising legal awareness amongst students across the country, with an aim of providing a platform for law and management students to gauge their knowledge in respect of the relevant legal and other developments in their respective fields.
Date of the event: 1st & 2nd May 2021.
Lei Ipsum is a functional group under the Student Council at NMIMS. As a committee, their mission is to promote MBA (Law) as a niche in the legal industry. They work with a clear vision of encouraging and promoting the course by portraying our students’ talent.
All interested participants must register on or before the 15th of April 2021. The Problem shall be released on or before 29th March 2021, and all written submissions must be made on or before 29th April 2021.
Composition of the Team
Each participating team shall consist of 2 members. The team, in the Arbitration Round(s), shall have 2 Counsels. No team shall be accompanied by a coach or an instructor.
Nature of the Competition
All the teams shall participate in all rounds.

Google Form: The Teams shall register for the quiz competition through the online Google form by 30th April 2021.
Registration fees are ₹ 600 per team
Online Payment: Payment through GooglePay / BHIM UPI.
Note: Payment has to be completed before 30th April 2021 and the screenshot of the payment receipt must be attached in the google form and be emailed along with Participant details at leiipsum@nmims.edu.in.
