Established in 1966, KERALA LAW ACADEMY (KLA) is a seat of excellence in legal education, consultancy, research, and in pioneering law reforms. The Academy’s prestigious institute, “the Kerala Law Academy Law College” is located in Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, India, on a hill of sylvan splendor with a view of the Arabian Sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other. The Academy’s social commitment is embedded in its socio-legal clinics and consultancy service. The College of Law of the Academy is affiliated with the University of Kerala, and offers Undergraduate programs in BA LL.B. and B.Com LL.B. five-year integrated courses, LLB Unitary three year course and Post-Graduate courses of LL.M (Administrative Law), LL.M (International Law) and MBL (Master of Business Law).   • Theme: Biodiversity Conservation: Global Strategies And Legal Scenarios
  • Objective: This Seminar aims to focus on Biodiversity Conservation, its Global Strategies and Legal Scenarios, environmental policies, threats to biodiversity, and the role and importance of biodiversity conservation in protected natural areas. Moreover, this seminar provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of Biodiversity Conservation.
