About the Organisations
The Asian Law Institute (ASLI) was established in 2003 through the efforts of several leading Asian law schools to foster Asian legal scholarship and to facilitate greater interaction amongst legal scholars in Asia as well as legal scholars outside Asia working on Asian law.
National Law University, Delhi is a law university in India, offering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the Conference
The 17th Conference on Law and Justice in Asia is going to organise by the Asian Law Institute (ASLI) at the National Law University, Delhi from Jun 3-4, 2020. The purpose of the annual conference is to bring together scholars of Asian law from within and outside Asia to interact, share ideas and build collegial networks which may facilitate dialogue and research collaborations.
Themes
The broad theme of the 2020 conference is Law and Justice in Asia. Under the conference theme, we will, as far as possible, group papers within broad subject areas, and will form panels on this basis. The broad subject areas will include:
